The occurrence of resistant bacteria in dairy calves is highly influenced by multiple factors, including both animal age and consumption of feed containing antibiotics. Better knowledge about the prevalence and factors influencing the selection of resistant bacteria in calves may be necessary to reduce its incidence and potential risks associated with public and animal health.
